Silicone Antifoam DCA-403

Introduction

DCA-403 is an organosilicon defoamer suitable for solvent-based and solvent-free systems. It has strong defoaming capabilities and good safety in use, especially in the elimination of bubbles in thick polyurethane coatings. At the same time, it has minimal impact on the transparency of the system.

Physicochemical Data

  • Chemical composition:Solution of modified organosilicon polymer

  • Appearance:Colorless and transparent liquid

  • Active content: 1%

  • Solvent: Xylene

Product features

  • High safety in use, less likely to cause defects such as shrinkage holes in the paint film

  • Excellent compatibility, less likely to cause system turbidity, does not affect gloss

  • Helps eliminate defects such as fisheyes, pinholes, craters, and microbubbles

  • Strong defoaming ability and fast bubble-breaking speed; extremely significant defoaming effect on bubbles generated by two-component polyurethane reactions

Application areas

Suitable for various solvent-based coating systems, including but not limited to the following application areas:

  • Topcoats for woodware in various resin systems

  • General industrial coatings based on long oil alkyd, PU, amino baking paint,

  • Thermoplastic acrylic, epoxy, and vinyl resins (specific application systems can refer to the recommended application systems and instructions).

Addition Method

It can be added at any stage of production,

Recommended dosage: 0.1-2.0% of the total formulation, generally 0.3-0.8% of the total formulation in most cases.

25KG iron drum, stored in a cool and dry place.
