Silicone Free Defoamer DCA-4941

Introduction

DCA-4941 is a non-silicone defoamer suitable for solvent-based and non-solvent coatings to improve flowability and exhibits the strongest suppression, defoaming, and bubble-breaking effects, especially suitable for high-viscosity coating systems. It also has good compatibility, does not easily produce shrinkage holes, and is safe to use.

Product features

  • DCA-4941 is a modified acrylic copolymer that maintains strong defoaming while improving the flowability and smoothness of the coating film.

  • Suitable for thick coating environments, solving the problems of easy foaming and blistering during thick coating application, resulting in a smooth coating surface.

  • It addresses the challenge of defoaming in high-viscosity systems, prevents the incorporation of air bubbles during mixing, and aids in the release of microbubbles from the paint.

Application areas

Used in dual-component PU, amino baking paints, nitro dipping, acid-cured amino, epoxy, and other solvent-based and non-solvent systems.

Addition Method

0.1% to 1.0% of the total amount; optimal dosage should be tested. It should be mixed under sufficiently high shear force, recommended to be added before grinding.

Packaging and storage:

25KG plastic  drum, stored in a cool and dry place.
