Anti-flash rust agent DCA-8983
Introduction
Anti-flash rust agents are designed to inhibit the formation of rust or corrosion on metal surfaces during the period between surface preparation and the application of a more permanent protective coating, such as paint or primer. They work by forming a temporary barrier on the metal surface that prevents moisture from reaching the metal and causing rapid rusting.
DCA-8983 is an anti-flash rust additive composed of a combination of organic carboxylic acid salts and inorganic sodium salts, which has excellent performance in preventing corrosion in water-based industrial paint systems
