Dispersing agent DCA-5420

Introduction

DCA-5420 is a new generation of block type polymer dispersant developed based on controlled polymerization technology. It contains multiple anchoring groups and has strong adsorption ability for various organic pigments, especially carbon black. It can greatly reduce the operating viscosity of the grinding system, increase the filling amount of pigments, and have strong ability to prevent flocculation and coarsening, greatly improving the storage stability of the ground color paste.

Product features

  • DCA-5420 is suitable for medium to high polarity systems and has good compatibility with commonly used coating resins, making it highly versatile in coating systems.

  • DCA-5420can significantly improve the wetting and dispersion ability of the base material on pigments and fillers, reduce system viscosity, enhance flowability, and shorten grinding and dispersion time.

  • DCA-5420 is a polymer based hyperdispersant with excellent anti coarsening ability. Compared to small molecule wetting dispersants, it can greatly extend the storage stability of ground color paste.

Addition Method

The dosage varies depending on the system used. For inorganic pigments, the dosage ranges from 5% to 15%, for organic pigments, from 30% to 50%, and for carbon black, from 50% to 100% (depending on the specific surface area of the pigment).

25KG iron drum, stored in a cool and dry place.
