Dispersing agent DCA-8408

Introduction

DCA-8408 is a polymer based dispersant suitable for grinding various organic pigments in low polarity systems. It not only has good wettability, but also has excellent anti settling, anti flocculation, and floating ability.

Physicochemical Data

  • Chemical composition:High molecular polyamide polymer containing hydrophilic pigment groups

  • Appearance:Brown viscous liquid

  • Active content: 100%

  • Solvent:None

Product features

  • Suitable for medium to low polarity systems, such as petroleum resin, hydrocarbon resin, alkyd, chlorinated rubber, and other systems.

  • A polymer based hyperdispersant with excellent wetting properties

  • Excellent ability to prevent back coarsening

Application areas

  • Alkyd systems

  • Phenolic systems

  • Modified rosin resins, chlorinated rubber

Addition Method

The addition amount varies depending on the system used.

For inorganic pigments, 4% -8%,

For organic pigments, 10% -30%,

Carbon black is 20% -60%.

For dispersed phthalocyanine blue and carbon black, if used in conjunction with pigment derivative viscosity reducers, it can have better results.

Packaging and storage:

25KG iron drum, stored in a cool and dry place.
