Silicone free Antifoam DCA-442

Introduction

DCA-442 is a non-silicone defoamer, suitable for improving the flowability of both solvent-based and non-solvent-based coatings. It offers strong suppression, defoaming, and bursting effects, particularly effective in high-viscosity coating systems. It also possesses good compatibility and does not easily cause shrinkage holes, ensuring safe application performance.

Product features

  • DCA-442 is a modified acrylic ester copolymer that maintains strong defoaming while improving the flowability and increasing the flatness of the paint film.

  • It addresses difficult defoaming challenges in high-viscosity systems, preventing bubble incorporation during stirring, and facilitating the release of small bubbles from the coating.

  • DCA-442 is suitable for thick coating applications, overcoming issues of bubbling and blistering, resulting in a smooth coating surface.

Application areas

Recommended for two-component PU, amino baking paint, nitro dipping, acid-cured amino, epoxy, and other solvent or non-solvent systems.

Addition Method

A recommended concentration is between 0.1% to 1.0% of the total volume. Optimal dosage should be determined through testing. Mix under high shear force, preferably before grinding.

Packaging and storage:

25KG iron drum, stored in a cool and dry place.
